Former Arsenal and England footballer Sol Campbell’s wedding was an occasion to behold in July. The Football star, who has just joined Newcastle United after they were promoted back to the Premiership, married his long time love Fiona Barratt in an eighth century church in Northumberland.
The church was decorated beautifully with white bouquets and the grounds were totally sealed off from the media. Guests at the wedding included fellow footballers Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole.
The newlyweds were showered with confetti when they made their way out of the church after the ceremony and were escorted to their chauffeur driven Rolls Royce wedding car which transferred them to their wedding breakfast.
Sol has 11 siblings so the wedding wasn’t a quiet affair but everyone seemed to have a great time.
