Gorgeous singing sensation Rihanna rounded off her stay in New York recently with a ride in a chauffeur driven SUV. The starlet, originally from Barbados, had been performing at Madison Square Garden earlier in the week where she told fans:
“Thanks, all of you who bought a ticket tonight to come see me. I’m at Madison Square Garden and thanks to you guys, we sold out Madison Square Garden — thank you so much.”
She had been staying in an exclusive hotel in SoHo during her visit to the US and appears to have enjoyed every minute of her stay.
The singer looked stunning as she was spotted getting into the chauffer driven vehicle as she made her way to the airport for her further tour dates. She completed her tour with shows at Atlantic City on the 14th and then Wantagh on the 15th. She had to cancel her opening concert on the 2nd of July because of ‘production changes’.
Talking about the shows she stated:
“We’ve never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level.
“Visually and sonically it’s going to be a big step up from the last time. We just keep growing, and this time it is a massive production that I cannot wait for.”
The star, whose recent tour of the UK was a resounding success, is hoping the recent US dates will increase sales of her new album which is due for release at the end of 2010.
