Now here’s a car fit for a real-life Barbie girl.
Hotel heiress Paris Hilton splashed out $200,000 (£137,000) on a bright pink Bentley Continental GT as a Christmas present to herself.
After buying the luxury car, Hilton commissioned West Coast Customs – famed car customiser on MTV’s Pimp My Ride – to paint the car a specific shade of pink, including the wheels, the interior and the grille.
While in the ’shop’, Hilton also had the winged Bentley badge replaced with a personalised plate with her initials.
Hilton’s car also has a protective tint on the windows so the paparazzi can’t photograph her – probably wise since they will see her coming a mile away.
Hilton told the television network ‘E!’: “I’ve just always wanted a pink car. I think when you’re a little girl and you have the Barbie Corvette you’re always like, ‘Oh, I wish I had a car like this one day,’ so I think it just comes from being a fan of Barbie for so long.”
