Nicole Kidman has been spotted filming a new ad in Rio de Janeiro recently. She looked stunning as usual at the shoot before being driven in a chauffeur driven limousine around the city.

The new ad which is being filmed to promote the yet to be built Village Mall is expected to be around two minutes long and feature some of the city’s highlights.

The plot line for the ad starts with Nicole being escorted from her private jet. She then takes a ride past Sugarloaf Mountain and Rio’s stunning beaches, before reaching the new shopping mall.

When she arrives at the mall she is snapped by paparazzi and saunters across a red carpet wearing a dazzling red dress whilst making her way to the entrance.

Those who have seen the ad have compared it to the ad Nicole shot for Chanel No 5 in 2005.

There was only one problem while filming the ad, the shopping mall has yet to be built so all the images used with the mall in the background had to be computer generated.

Katie price has just completed her latest book signing event, backed up by a team of security staff. The former glamour model is reportedly worried that a similar incident may happen to her as befell Leona Lewis recently, when a supposed fan lunged at the singer.

Katie has stepped up the security at events after concerns she will be attacked in a similar manner. A spokesperson for Katie stated:

“Katie has been wary about security at book signings ever since Leona Lewis was attacked at a similar event.

“The security for Katie’s appearances at bookshops is paid for by Waterstones.”

Katie arrived at the event in a chauffeur driven car and was looked after by the security guards throughout the event.

Talking about the shows she stated:

“We’ve never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level.

“Visually and sonically it’s going to be a big step up from the last time. We just keep growing, and this time it is a massive production that I cannot wait for.”

The star, whose recent tour of the UK was a resounding success, is hoping the recent US dates will increase sales of her new album which is due for release at the end of 2010.

The gorgeous Cheryl Tweedy has been in the news a lot recently. First concerning the acrimonious divorce from her footballing husband Ashley Cole and then after contracting malaria while on holiday in Africa.

The star had to spend several nights in hospital and has been warned to give her gruelling routine a break while her body recovers. Her weight has dropped considerably since she contracted the disease and she is being looked after by her mum Joan until she recovers sufficiently.

To help out, Cheryl’s managers have hired a private nurse to keep a check on Cheryl’s condition and help her recover from the debilitating condition. The nurse in question was taken to see Cheryl in a chauffeur driven car after dark this week.

A source commented:

“It’s important now she’s out of hospital her condition doesn’t get worse again.

“The nurse will be on call 24 hours a day to make sure Cheryl gets everything she needs.”
