The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is an exciting day of racing at the Ascot race track, and it’s family day on 7th August.
This means that running alongside Britain’s only jockey competition will be numerous events to entertain families of all ages, including the following:
• Football master classes for children, led by coaches from Reading Football Club
• Cheerleading workshops for kids run by Pineapple Dance Studios
• Jockey signing session
• Fairground rides
• Free hair braiding and temporary tattoos
80s concert
The main event, apart from the racing, is the 80s concert. This specially organised two-hour concert will reunite a host of 80s legends from the ‘Here and Now’ Tour, from headliner Boy George to Cutting Crew, Midge Ure and Belinda Carlisle. The special night looks set to be an exciting blast from the past for 80s music fans.
As the event is fast approaching, attendees (or those who have managed to snap up some last-minute tickets) will need to move fast to arrange their transport for the day.
